You assume we are on minimum wage... ? Lol, if we were then we certainly wouldn't be able to afford anything from GWS.

It's not about how much we earn it's about how much we are willing to pay for small plastic figures!
If we don't complain, then we are accepting the increase and any future increase. I firmly believe that if you are unhappy about something then you SHOULD voice your concern/discourse - this for me is a good forum to voice it!

Please don't tell people to stop complaining.

Hear, hear.

I have never gotten more than minimum wage so far, and have ~500 figures.... (I'm 17 btw...)

It can get tiring to keep seeing people complaining, but at the same time different people release anger/frustration in different ways, and nobody said you had to read this topic...if you don't like to hear the complaining, enjoy all the other great stuff on this forum and ignore this thread. :)

I was saying stop complaining, not about the price increase, but about the fact that everything is more expensive in Australia. It's because Australia is an island that has to have most everything shipped to it, which costs money to the company. However, since the minimum wage (which I would assume would translate to the average wage as well) is higher as well, it should even out. Obviously not in all cases of course. I'm on minimum wage and I can afford to buy minis, I just have to save up for it.

But when you're seventeen, I suppose you don't have a house and kids and a car and pay for your own food etc.?

I am permanently under the minimum wages (youth minimum is lower then adult minimum :( ), but I think I can spend more money per hour of work then most others.

another puzzling point is thats as GW increase their prices do they actually realise they are actually promoting younger hobbyists to just give up warhammer, go out and play video games. I'm not sure that they know you can get great 2nd hand video games for under £5, its totally ridiculous, if they actually had millions of people buying their minatures consistently then people would still buy stuff even though the price is being increased. Video games are slowly increasing their prices but they have tens of millions buying their product whereas GW don't!!! Cmon GW what are you thinking!!! if they want to increase the interest in their hobby they need to put the prices down!!!

It's a bit too late now though, because the prices have been so high for so long, if they lowered them everyone would just go mad and buy in bulk, pretty much every store would probably run out of stock and then the demand would outdo the supply probably.

GW will never voluntarily lower their prices.

And yes they are already beyond ridiculous.
