My latest piece, an Azog conversion done by the talented Dave Fredericks of Shadow and Flame. I thank the client for allowing me free reign and setting a cold theme. I took a cast of the base and created a resin one to replicate the ice flow. Hope you like. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz247/m...

Thanks guys, I'm pleased with how it came out as I blasted my way through the it in 8 days. Eric - I used a 2 part resin. Mixed the first pour with a dark green for the depth. The second pour with a lighter green. Phil - you can get your big lumbering feet out of it Ja33 - thanks, pretty happy but a...

Thanks Sith. If you want to add to the rust then use a bright orange to stipple on top of the beasty brown. Trust me, it works.

Ok, I've been busy as ever with jobs, cracking through the orders. Now this may not be everybody's thing but I did a very quick shield for an Uruk Hai. It helps with my commission work for table top standard to do things well, but have quicker methods. All in all this took me 1.5 minutes to do and I...

Impressive work Phil. I love these sculpts and how, they lend themselves to the paint. That may seem odd but you may get my drift, some figures just paint so damn well and these are one of them.

Another great job. I'm liking the texture in the cloak. It may be the photo but if anything the colour of the sword blade is a little too close a match to the cloak.

For example when glazing highs you brush in one direction only and the strike ends at the highest point. This pushes the pigment to the end cre...
